The Account Resets. Your Record Does Not.
E8 accounts are built to end. Five payouts and the account deactivates, and a free challenge at the same size takes its place. Trade there for a year and you will have run several. Tanto is where they add up. Archive each finished account and it stops counting toward your limit, drops out of your active totals, and keeps every trade, grade, and note exactly where it was, ready to sit beside the next one.
Each trade arrives from Tradovate within seconds of closing and gets charted against price with your entry and exit marked. Next to the chart: how far it ran in your favor, how far it went against you first, and what share of the move you kept. Then two grades, not one. A through F for the outcome, and a separate rating for execution, because a loss you managed to plan and a win you held through a moved stop are different trades even when the P&L agrees.
Reports runs on every trade you have taken, journaled or not. Tag setups, entries, exits, conditions, and emotions, and Cross Analysis will put any two against each other, with cells under five trades left gray so a hot week never reads as an edge. The heatmap finds the hour that costs you. The monthly panel names your best and worst day, which matters more here than most places: on E8 Zero, a big enough day raises the profit target.
Sizes run from a 25K Signature to a 200K Zero, and dollar P&L makes them hard to compare. Set a stop per trade, or a default risk per account, and switch the app to R multiples so every account reads on one scale. Plan the day in the Day Journal with the economic calendar already loaded, then close it out beside the trades it produced. Still choosing a plan? Yes. The first connection pulls the last 30 days from Tradovate, usually within a minute, so a challenge already underway shows up with its history. Older trades can come in as a CSV and Tanto merges them with the synced ones.
Yes. Give each its own account in Tanto with its own stats, calendar, and commission settings. The account selector shows one at a time, any group of them, or everything you trade across every firm at once.
Symbol, side, entry, exit, quantity, timestamps, and P&L on every fill. On top of that Tanto charts the trade against price with your entry and exit marked and works out MFE, MAE, and Captured %, so the management of the trade is visible, not just the result.
Two grades per trade. Performance is A through F for how it turned out. Execution is Perfect, Decent, or Needs Work for how closely you followed the plan. Tag the setup, entry, exit, conditions, and emotion, then filter Reports by any of them or cross two against each other.
Yes. The heatmap lays out expectancy by hour and day of week, and the stat panel names your best and worst session, New York or Globex. E8 trails the drawdown on your end-of-day balance, so the hour you hand profit back matters as much as the hour you make it.
Yes. Put a stop on each trade, or set a default risk per account if you size every trade the same, then switch the app to R multiples. A 25K Signature and a 200K Zero read on the same scale, so the stats describe your process rather than your contract size.
Yes. Enter a per-order or per-contract round-turn rate on each account and every P&L figure in the app follows it, history included. Trade micros next to standard contracts and a separate micro rate picks itself by symbol.
Archive it. The account stops counting toward your plan limit, leaves your All Accounts totals, and keeps every trade, grade, tag, and journal entry as it was. When the free challenge starts, the old account is a click away for comparison.
Yes. Upload your Tradovate trade history as a CSV or add trades by hand. Every analytics and journaling feature works the same either way.
No. Tanto is read-only. It cannot place trades, change orders, or move funds, so it never touches your E8 account. You sign in on Tradovate's own page and your password never reaches our servers.
Yes. Add as many accounts as your plan supports and view them one at a time or together. E8 Futures beside another futures firm or a personal account, all on one dashboard.
